Commercial Direct Heating Heat Pumps

We aim to maximise value for money in terms of Life Cycle Cost (LCC). This does not necessarily imply the lowest initial cost, but takes into account the capitalised operating cost including the impact of peak demand and energy consumption tariffs. We therefore strive to offer high quality and reliability, high energy efficiency, low peak power demand, low maintenance and correctly integrated overall system design.

The advantage of our commercial direct heating heat pumps is a constant outlet water temperature of 60°C leading to improved storage vessel stratification. This is ideal for large consumers of hot water including but not limited to mining change houses, hospitals, hotels, and school/university residences.

Our next generation ECDH-MT series of heat pumps evolved from the original EH-MT series which are locally designed and manufactured since 1989. Both series employ high efficiency refrigerant-to-water heat exchangers that enable direct heating of water, up to maximum 65°C for the ECDH series.

The ECDH-MT range consists of 6 models with heating capacities ranging between 18kW and 90kW. The EH-MT range consisting of two models with a 50kW and 80kW heating capacity. The ECDH-MT and EH-MT series are equipped with pressure actuated water flow regulating valves to ensure a constant outlet temperature of at least 55°C, but typically set to 60°C. The units are equipped with automatic defrosting which is excellent for self-protection during colder periods of the year.
